As summer gives way to autumn, we gather beneath the wide San Luis Valley sky to celebrate the beauty of the changing season through song, movement, community, and shared presence.

Wild Origins invites you to join us for an afternoon and evening of community singing, drumming, gentle movement, seasonal ritual, sound healing, connection, laughter, gratitude, and celebration. Together we will gather around the rhythms of the earth, share food and stories, offer prayers and blessings for the season ahead, and experience the joy that emerges when people come together in authentic expression.

Set on a beautiful creekside property near Moffat, this gathering welcomes those from all backgrounds who long for meaningful connection, creativity, and community.

What to expect:

• Community singing and drumming
• Guided movement and circle dance
• Seasonal altar and gratitude practices
• Sound healing
• Potluck meal and community connection
• Creekside nature setting
• Fire gathering (if conditions permit)
• Opportunities for reflection, prayer, laughter, and celebration

Wear clothing inspired by autumn, nature, ancient cultures, or whatever helps you feel most fully yourself and layers are best - nights are getting chilly! Bring a POTLUCK DISH or beverage (non-alcoholic) that reflects the season of gratitude and harvest, your own plate/cup/utensils, chair, an instrument or two and rain gear (just in case!). You may also like to bring dance flow toys and a chair or hammock.

Participants may like to stay the night at local hot springs such as Joyful Journey or check out other local attractions if you are making the trip from out of town!

If you're vehicle does not handle some slight off road conditions, then drive on in! If not, park off the side of the road and let walk in about 10 minutes. You'll see a small camper and cars parked. See you soon!
