Rayah Sunshine is a ceremonial artist, guide, and creator of modern earth-based ritual. Drawing from decades of immersion in ancient ceremonial traditions, embodied movement, voice work, and yoga nidra, she weaves experiences that reconnect people to their instinctual nature and the living intelligence of the earth and sky.

Her work is rooted in the understanding that all humans carry an animal body, a dreaming spirit, and a deep memory of belonging. Through raw, creative ritual and guided inner journeys, Rayah supports awakened modern seekers in remembering their wildness, softening into authenticity, and restoring sacred relationships with themselves and the world around them.

Blending ancient influences with original practices, she creates spaces where beauty, vulnerability, and power coexist — where ceremony becomes a living art and healing arises through presence, expression, and deep listening.

Wild Origins was born from a longing for deeper connection — to ourselves, to one another, and to the living beauty of the natural world. Through retreats, creative expression, sacred rest, voice, ritual, and gathering, we create spaces where women can soften, remember who they are, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Giving to the kids and everyone else through ceremonies was exhausting at times!

Years ago at my home in Crestone, CO I was a mom to two and leading ceremonies.

My name is Rayah Sunshine, and I am the founder of Wild Origins in Crestone, Colorado.

My journey began long before this business. As a young woman in my twenties, I was searching for roots. I came from a family where much of our spiritual connection to the earth and ancestral traditions had been lost, and I felt disconnected from who I was and why I was here. That search led me into years of studying earth-based traditions, healing practices, song, ceremony, and community.

For more than fifteen years, I helped lead transformational experiences alongside my husband while raising our two children. Then my life took an unexpected turn. After seventeen years of marriage, I went through a divorce that completely shattered my sense of identity. I found myself facing deep grief, depression, and the realization that the life I thought I would have was no longer possible.

What followed was a slow process of rebuilding. Through practices like Yoga Nidra, time in nature, travel, ceremony, song, and learning to trust myself again, I discovered a strength I didn't know I had. I learned that healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about remembering who you are underneath the conditioning, disappointments, and losses.

That experience became the foundation of Wild Origins. Today I create retreats, women's song circles, guided journeys, and transformational experiences that help people reconnect with their authentic selves. I serve women in midlife who are ready to step into a new chapter of their lives with greater freedom, purpose, joy, and connection. My mission is to help humanity to remember their wild roots so they can nourish themselves, reclaim their voice, and bring their gifts back into the world.
