Temple of the Turning Leaves:

Unplug. Rewild.

Become What’s Next.

September 24 to 27 2026

As summer fades into autumn and the full moon rises over the mountains of Crestone, women gather for four days and three nights of ritual, nature, voice, sisterhood, and deep reconnection.

Temple of the Turning Leaves is an intimate women’s retreat designed for those moving through life transitions and longing for something more real, embodied, and meaningful. Whether you are navigating midlife, grief, burnout, menopause, divorce, caregiving, creative awakening, exhaustion, or simply the feeling that you’ve lost connection to yourself, this retreat offers space to pause, release the old, and reconnect with the woman you are becoming.

Together we will unplug from technology and return to the wisdom of the body, the elements, and authentic community.

This is not a performance-based wellness retreat.
There is nothing to achieve here.
No spiritual hierarchy. No pressure to “have it together.”

Instead, this is a space for:

  • meaningful connection

  • rest from constant stimulation

  • sacred ritual and shared song

  • emotional honesty

  • wild beauty

  • laughter, tears, movement, and presence

  • reconnecting with your voice and inner knowing

Over our time together, we will share:

  • Yoga Nidra and guided meditation

  • A traditional sweat lodge (weather permitting)

  • Full moon fire ceremony at Haidakhandi Universal Ashram

  • Sacred women’s song circles and voice activation

  • Healthy nourishing meals

  • Hiking, creek time, cold plunges, and nature immersion

  • Dance, storytelling, emotional release, and sisterhood

  • Spaciousness to simply breathe and be

Women will stay between two nearby homes:

Accommodations range from camping and shared sleeping spaces to a limited number of private rooms.

For women ready to step out of the ordinary and into the wild intelligence of their lives—welcome.

About your Retreat Artisans

Rayah Sunshine is a ceremonial artist, guide, and creator of modern earth-based ritual. Drawing from decades of immersion in ancient ceremonial traditions, embodied movement, voice work, and yoga nidra, she weaves experiences that reconnect people to their instinctual nature and the living intelligence of the earth and sky.

Her work is rooted in the understanding that all humans carry an animal body, a dreaming spirit, and a deep memory of belonging. Through raw, creative ritual and guided inner journeys, Rayah supports awakened modern seekers in remembering their wildness, softening into authenticity, and restoring sacred relationships with themselves and the world around them.

Blending ancient influences with original practices, she creates spaces where beauty, vulnerability, and power coexist — where ceremony becomes a living art and healing arises through presence, expression, and deep listening.

Tiana Rivera is an earthy solo mama to two teens and has been passionate about whipping up magic in the kitchen since she was a young child. She has been a student of the wild wise woman ways for five years, which Rayah has been a supportive influence and guide. Whether she’s climbing mountains, navigating teenage attitudes, or crunching numbers at her day job; she weaves prayers into form to honor the sacredness that all our ancestors whisper for us to remember.
